[Softhands] – India's First Reward-Based Volunteering Assistance Platform.

Effective: February 15, 2026. Ludhiana, Punjab Jurisdiction.By accessing our platform, app, or services (collectively "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. We reserve the right to update them with notice via email or app notification.1. Services OverviewWe connect customers needing assistance (e.g., elderly errands, medical delivery) with verified volunteers via trained operators. Volunteers earn rewards for completed tasks. Customers pay service fees. Donations support platform development.2. EligibilityVolunteers: 16+ years, Indian resident, completed registration with accurate details. Pass background/physical checks.Customers: 18+ years or legal guardian for minors/vulnerable persons.Operators: Appointed by us, trained for task matching.3. Volunteer ObligationsAccept/decline assigned tasks promptly based on skills, availability, location.Complete tasks professionally, safely, abiding by code of conduct (respect, punctuality, confidentiality).Failed tasks without strong reasons (e.g., no-show) result in membership cancellation and penalty equal to service cost, deducted from pending payouts.Rewards credited post-client rating ≥3/5 verification.4. Customer ObligationsProvide accurate task details. Treat volunteers respectfully.Cancellation: 50% refund only; no refund after volunteer assignment/task start.No refunds for dissatisfaction.5. Payments & RewardsCustomer payments via UPI/Razorpay; non-refundable per Refund Policy.Volunteer rewards (e.g., ₹100-500/task) paid to verified bank within 7 days.Donations (e.g., ₹51) non-refundable.All subject to our Return & Refund Policy.6. Prohibited ConductNo fraud, harassment, illegal activities, or sharing personal data.Violations lead to immediate suspension/termination without refunds.7. Liability & DisclaimersServices "as-is"; we not liable for task outcomes, injuries, or damages.Volunteers independent contractors; platform facilitator only.Force majeure (e.g., pandemics, strikes) excuses delays.8. Privacy & DataData collected per registration form (name, Aadhaar, bank details) used for matching/payments. Complies with DPDP Act 2023. See Privacy Policy.9.
