Return & Refund Policy

[Softhands] – India's First Reward-Based Volunteering Assistance Platform.This policy covers refunds for donations, volunteer rewards, customer-purchased services, and other transactions. All sales are final unless specified, as funds drive social impact.

Donation Refunds

Donations (e.g., ₹51 contributions for startup development) are non-refundable once processed, supporting app development, operator training, and operations.

No refunds for completed UPI/Razorpay payments.Volunteer RewardsRewards earned for completed tasks are non-refundable and credited post-verification (e.g., client rating ≥3/5).Payouts (e.g., ₹100-500/task) transferred to bank within 7 days of completion.No refunds on disbursed rewards. Unclaimed rewards expire after 90 days.

Failed tasks without strong reasons will cause cancellation of membership and attract penalty equivalent to total cost of service to be provided, deducted from pending payouts which would not be transferred.

Customer Purchased Services

Customers booking assistance tasks (e.g., elderly errands, medical delivery) via operators:

Cancellation by Customer: 50% refund only. No refund after volunteer assignment or task start.

Cancellation by Volunteer/Operator: Full refund only.

No-Show by Volunteer: Full refund only.

Dissatisfaction: No refunds.

Service Fees (Premium)Future premium features (e.g., priority matching, subscriptions):Pro-rated refunds within 48 hours of signup. No refunds post-service use.

How to Request Email softhands.info@gmail.com with Transaction ID, reason, proof, and timestamps. Response within 72 hours. Disputes under Indian laws, shimla jurisdiction. Updated Feb 2026.
